FARM WALKS

Take advantage of the peacefulness around you and explore the many trails the farm has to offer. Whether you are a hiker, a mountain biker or would like to just stretch out your legs - our farm has the perfect route for you.

Make sure to keep your eyes open, for we have a variety of indigenous antelope including Duiker, Mountain Reebok and Blesbok.

Cycle track

Explore the countryside and test out our cycle track. Suitable for all endurance levels, our cycle track will bring out the adventurer within you with its beautiful surroundings.

Picnic Spots on the Farm

We have several beautiful locations on the farm that are made for Picnics. Ideal for romantic, private picnics, family Fundays or just a peaceful time away from everything.

So bring a basket or backpack, load up with snacks, and head on out for a peaceful day.

We recommend that you stock up in Dullstroom – we have a variety of shops selling delectable picnic snacks, from Bergen Cheese, to the Mad Hatter Saturday morning Food Market, bespoke Sandwiches at Udderlicious, fresh trout products at Millies Trout and Deli-Stroom, as well as 2 well stock supermarkets, with fresh fruit and vegetables.

We are in the process of supplying a fixed table and bench at each of the identified spots, each of which will be included on our user friendly map of the Farm, provided in your Welcome File in each Cottage.

Kiddies Scavenger Hunt

Never fear, we’ve got the kiddies covered. There is no better way to get your kids exploring than with a treasure hunt. Our treasure hunts are catered to what the countryside has to offer, we will provide you with all the tools you will need to go exploring!

Bird Watching and Duck feeding at the crofts

The Dullstroom countryside is perfect for birding. Sit back and relax on your veranda and observe these beautiful animals in their pristine natural habitat, undisturbed.

Enjoy watching these quirky characters having a snack at the pond. We provide the feed, please look out for it in your cottages.

Fishing

Dullstroom has become illustrious when it comes to fishing, some saying it is the fly fishing capital of South Africa. Inside Dullstroom Country Cottages we have Bhembe Dam which is approximately four hectares. Enquire about our fishing rules and regulations.
